Tents

We have three tents that can be set up for our events; 2 large tents with green / white canvases, and one small tent with silver / black canvas.
We normally use the 2 large tents for setting up chairs and tables for eating. The smaller tent is used for Cooking. There are  a few other tents for deserts, prize tables, etc.

Instructions for setting up large tents:
  1. Build the roof first, entirely out of blue poles.
  2. Only tighten thumb screws finger tight. DO NOT use screw drivers, etc. to tighten, or you'll crimp the pipes.
  3. Build the roof ridge using 4 blue poles, 2 - 4-way connectors (blue and brown) and 3 - 5-way connectors (blue and brown).
  4. Insert 10 blue rafters into the 5 top ridge connectors (5 on each side of the tent)..
  5. Insert 10 side connectors (blue and yellow) into the other end of the 10 blue rafters  (5 on each side of the tent).
  6. Insert 8 blue side ridges into the side connectors (4 on each side of the tent).
  7. Stretch the roof canvas over the roof frame in the centre with equal spaces around the edge.
  8. Connect every eyelet LOOSELY to the edges using two bungees linked together instead of only one.
  9. Now you need 5 people, each with a yellow outside leg in one hand, to lift a connector and insert the yellow pole.
  10. Note that the entire tent will move sideways towards the base of these yellow poles during these steps.
  11. Repeat on the other side of the tent.
  12. Insert a brown pole into each of the 5 ridge connectors in the middle
  13. Now walk around the perimeter and replace the two bungees at each eyelet with one. This will stretch the canvas into shape.
  14. Drive in 15 rebar pegs at each leg, and fasten frame to pegs with guy ropes.
